Coming to you straight from my kitchen studio one more week. Of course, they have a story. In October, 1977, my grandmother died. I got married on Dec 10 of that year. My grandfather died on Dec 12. I was the first of the grandchildren to be married. My husband and I were very poor and very young. My dad and my uncles told us we could have anything we wanted from the house. We took most of the furniture as we had nothing. I also took these dishes. I no longer have the furniture, of course. However, these dishes are in my kitchen cabinet and every time I open it up and see them, I am reminded of my grandparents and feel their love. They may not be here any more but their legacy lives on.

It is 2012 and time for another project 52. Here we go with week one. The theme is resolution. I plan to find a quote to go with each theme this year. I saw this on Pinterest and can't find a source but love how it relates to resolution.
